We are delighted to announce that as a result of a strong and continued growth in the year 2020 RVS Solicitors has expanded it’s pool of talent, with new members joining our close-knit family. This is not the only exciting news for our firm. RVS Solicitors will soon launch a new department to meet the demand from our Business clients, dealing with a range of corporate matters. Taking things a step further, we will also be opening our first overseas office, which will be located in Armenia and service the client from the CIS republics. The corporate services and the Armenia office team will be introduced in a separate blog post. So stay tuned and follow us, if you are interested in corporate services.
All our existing departments, have had new team members joining us in January or early February. You can expect the same reliable service from the new team members, as what RVS Solicitors has accustomed our clients to until now.
The Family department
In January our Family department welcomed its newest member, Andrea Panyiotou.
She has joined RVS as a fully qualified solicitor, who specialises in family and matrimonial law. Prior to joining RVS she worked in a well-regarded, high-paced family practice, where she honed her skills and expertise.
Andrea specialises in complex finance cases, asset protection, including pre and post nuptial agreements, as well as child arrangements. Andrea has demonstrated a client-centric, strategic, proactive and compassionate approach to her cases, which makes her the perfect fit for our Family Department.
“She is an asset to the Family Department. She is able to narrow the issues from the beginning so matters look to be resolved quite quickly. She has been a pleasure to work with and the clients’ appear to really appreciate her approach to their matters.”
Andrea also seems to have taken quite quickly to our culture and values. It has always been essential for us to not compromise on our values and approaches. Andrea seems to have a natural inclination for the client-oriented and compassionate approach we practice, which helped her fit in right away.
This is what Andrea says:
“Since joining RVS I’ve felt so welcomed by the team. The cases that I took over, are really interesting and with the support of the team I’ve felt so at ease. I’m excited to see the future holds for me and the firm.”
Srimila Srihari is our new member at the Immigration Department. Srimila joined RVS solicitors in January 2021 as a senior solicitor. She has many years post qualification experience, specialising in immigration law.
Throughout her career, she has helped many clients with extremely complex situations. She has particular focus on Family life related matters and other Human Rights applications.
Dr Lusine Navasardyan, the Head of our Immigration Department has spoken very highly of Srimila and the impact her presence will have on the firm.
“Srimila’s presence in the department reaffirms our commitment to our clients. She is an exceptionally bright lawyer, whose intellect is rivalled only by her compassion. In immigration work it is essential to have extensive experience in the area, but also be capable of continuously learning and be flexible, as the law changes constantly. Srimila combines all these qualities, together with impeccable client service. We all are very excited to have her on board.”
Srimila has a strong ethical sense and finds that her work should serve the client’s interest above else. She has found the perfect fit within RVS.
“I’ve just joined as a consultant at RVS and the support I have received is amazing! The firm has such a friendly and dedicated team which I am excited to have joined. Thank you to you all.”
Litigation and dispute resolution department
Our Civil Litigation and Landlord and Tenant matters departments have merged to create one department for Litigation and Dispute resolution. This was done to ensure a better quality of services that we are providing to our clients. The department is headed by our own Paula Oligbo, who has been with the firm nearly since the inception.
Joining the department this January is Elena Tonofrei as a paralegal, working directly under supervision of Paula Oligbo and assisting her on complex matters. Elena’s background is an interesting mix of litigation and employment cases.
Here’s Paula’s take on what Elena brings to the table:
“She is a pleasure to work with, a very quick learner and always has a smile on her face. An asset to the firm especially with her employment background, definitely a plus.”
RVS solicitors has always been committed to raising the next generation of great lawyers and we trust that Elena will soon start on a rising trajectory to become a strong presence in the legal industry.
Elena is clearly enjoying her time at RVS, which also reflects on her work. Here is what she says about joining the team:
“I am thankful for the opportunity to work with so many talented people at RVS. Very supportive and progressive work environment which is ideal for ensuring continuous success.”
We wish a warm welcome to all our new team members and look forward to conquering new heights for our clients. Team RVS is waiting to serve your legal needs, stronger, better and more determined than ever.
